In the first week we had one Google checkout order, making the entire idea hardly worth the effort. If not for the AdWords Google checkout badge <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/checkout.google.com\/buyer\/images\/badge.gif\" alt=\"Google Checkout Badge\" \/>, we probably would have stopped using it altogether. <\/p>\n<p>Week two and three offered a completely different experience. Google checkout orders jumped up to one or more per day, and have passed paypal in percentage of orders on the website. This is something that I would not have thought possible.<\/p>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t determined whether normal credit card paying customers, just diverted to using Google checkout, or these customers were actually looking for a store that accepted Google checkout, as sales haven&#8217;t increased proportionally. But either way, people are willing to use Google checkout.
